曾經為電影及廣告配樂及開設公共冊所書店的楊緬因，接下民進黨媒創中心主任一職，楊緬因2日接受《NOWnews今日新聞》專訪時表示，一個政黨追求創新便宜 確實與一般企業不同，但政治與美學是雙向的，希望未來能將自己在民間的創作養分帶入民進黨，為黨注入新的創作元素。
政治對楊緬因而言並不陌生，2014年曾任柯文哲市長競選辦公室宣網路部副主任，2016年也擔任蔡英文競選總統辦公室媒創中心副主任，楊緬因對政治及民進黨有一定程度的認知與默契。
此次接下民進黨媒創中心主任，楊緬因表示，除了過去合作的默契與了解外，也希望任內能把自己民間創意經驗帶入民進黨，透過過去的創作開放精神，尋求更多的合作空間。
楊緬因指出，他所認識的民進黨以及媒體創意中心，一直都是勇於創新、擁抱新事物的。但是一個政黨的角色，相對於一般追求創新的民間企業不同處是，還有一份倫理的責任。
楊緬因說，在政治溝通過程中，把一些不一樣的美感體驗帶入過程中，讓大家一起體會台灣的美是他的責任；他說，台灣群眾募資能力非常高，因此常有非常多很有潛力、優秀的創作者，在創作設計獨一無二的產品，創作在台灣落根，也希望能在民進黨紮根。

傳統的古早味，是台北人飲食記憶中不可遺失的一塊拼圖，就是樸實、純粹的美味培出老主顧對傳統老店的忠誠度。在大同區昌吉街上的「紅燒炖鰻」，就是這樣一間經營超過半世紀的老店，人氣歷久不衰。
店內招牌紅燒炖鰻，選用深海野生鰻魚切成大塊，加入紅麴醃製後炸酥。湯頭使用魚骨、魚尾加上當歸、川芎、桂皮等中藥材細火慢燉。魚塊肉質軟嫩且扎實，湯汁溫潤鮮甜，帶出香醇的藥膳風味。老闆娘推薦客人點紅燒炖鰻一定要再搭配店內的米粉一起享用，蒸煮米粉加上些許豆芽、韭菜、紅蘿蔔，雖然看似簡單平凡，但卻因為淋上鰻魚汁調味，攪拌調和後香氣撲鼻，米粉保水有Q度，一口鰻魚湯一口米粉，溫暖又滿足。

魚卵也是店內必點的餐點之一，老闆娘說當初經過多次試驗才研究出製作工法，將魚卵塑型、冷凍、蒸熟、油炸限定，複雜的製作程序讓魚卵外表酥脆，沾點蒜泥醬油一口咬下，粒粒分明的魚卵在口中「波波波」地歌唱，絕妙的獨特口感，只有在這裡吃得到。

民國48年從豬屠口的小攤子做起，至今已傳至第三代經營，「昌吉紅燒炖鰻」雖經過歲月的洗禮，但是傳統的好滋味卻不曾改變，也成為忠實顧客難以忘懷的美味首選。
